Hello and welcome to Martha's Vineyard Candle Company(R) online.  My name is  Linda and I started M.V. Candle in early 1999.  Now, after several successful years of making the candles at home and selling them out of my husband's bait & tackle shop, I finally feel  ready and very pleased to bring my candles to you on the internet. Although the demand for the candles has steadily grown, you can be certain that each and every candle produced and shipped out the   front door of my home is still hand-poured and carefully inspected by  me personally.  I continue to purchase the materials, design and draw the labels, hand-pour each candle and bring them to market.     

I'm a member of the International Guild of Candle Artisans(IGCA)   and candlemaker by trade.  For me, candlemaking is not just a hobby or pass-time activity but a full time occupation and way of life worthy of the full-time attention and effort that I put into it. 

My personal goal is simply to make the finest quality candles available, not to make the most.  I work hard to assure that every person who purchases a Martha's Vineyard Candle Co. product will be satisfied  with my work, and enjoy using my candles as much as I do making  them.  If you ever have the opportunity to visit Martha's Vineyard please make sure you visit the retail shop located on the West end of Oak Bluffs Harbor.
